4 Second HIIT

  • Weather: 68 degrees, a bit foggy/hazy
  • PAX: PVC, Logger
  • Disclaim Given

Warmup: 20 SSH, 10 Windmills, 10 Imperial Walkers, 10 Seal Jacks, 10 Weedpickers.

Thang: 4 Seconds HIIT followed by 15 seconds rest. We did 12 sets of each exercise, and roughly 9.6 exercises.

  • Merkins -hand release
  • Squats
  • Merkins – hands off ground
  • Bonnie Blairs
  • Stairs
  • Left leg skips
  • Right leg skips
  • V Ups
  • Dips
  • Burpees

Moleskin: Zamboni sent this article [click here] and I wanted to try it. PVC was up for the challenge. As you may expect, the first few rounds were very easy but by the end the fun would wear off. Each time you had to put in as much effort as possible for the 4 seconds. Each time I tried to be explosive as possible. Part of the game was how many you could do in 4 seconds.

I like HIIT because with no counting you can chat. During the 4 seconds we were focused, but then chatted away during the rest.

Thanks Men!
